From refugee
to the front chair
He picked up the clippers in Lebanon in 2010. A year later he arrived in Australia as a refugee — a pair of scissors and a conviction that the work matters beyond the mirror. He honed his craft in barbershops across the country, then built Ministry Barbers into one of Sydney's leading names.
He introduced the first barbering program in NSW high schools, has been featured on SBS World News and Channel 9, and today mentors the next generation through the Ministry Barbers Academy.
